RugPad Docs

A system-level overview of the launchpad, monitoring, buyback, reserve, and recovery architecture.

Protocol preview
01

Launch & monitor

Every RugPad launch enters continuous wallet, liquidity, authority, distribution, and selling surveillance.

02

Verify on-chain behavior

Price decline alone is never enough. RugProof requires provable creator, insider, liquidity, or supply behavior.

03

Buy the recovery asset

Eligible fees are routed through RugBuy and converted into open-market $RUGPAD purchases.

04

Fund RugVault

Purchased $RUGPAD enters a public reserve. No recovery tokens are minted for affected wallets.

05

Lock exposure

Pre-Rug Snapshot records legitimate time-weighted exposure and excludes creator-linked wallet clusters.

06

Distribute by epoch

RugBack allocates reserve capacity across fixed periods and distributes pro-rata to eligible wallets.

Core invariants

What the protocol does not claim

NO GUARANTEED PROTECTION

RugProof reduces uncertainty; it cannot eliminate market or smart contract risk.

NO RECOVERY MINTING

RugBack draws from purchased $RUGPAD held by RugVault.

NO PRICE PROMISE

Buyback execution does not imply guaranteed price support or yield.

RugBond™

Creator accountability

A creator may deposit a refundable protocol bond to qualify for RUGPAD PROTECTED status.

If no verified rug occurs, the bond may later be returned under protocol rules. If a creator-driven rug is verified, the bond is slashed and contributes to RugBack.
